Natural stone: Amethyst

In Greek mythology, Bacchus, the god of wine, became drunk and was about to have wild animals attack passersby when a woman named Amethyst, a consort of the moon goddess, happened to be passing by.
The moon goddess Artemis noticed this and transformed the amethyst into a white crystal. When Bacchus woke up from his drunkenness, he regretted his actions and poured wine on the crystal, which turned it into a purple amethyst.
