How RAVICHARME jewelry is made
Process
All Ravi Charme jewelry is made by hand by artisans in affiliated workshops.
We want our customers to be happy when they pick up our products - with that thought in mind , we carry out each and every process carefully.
From jewelry manufacturing in the atelier to delivery to customers
1. 3D Design
After communicating with the customer, we create a 3D design using CAD software based on the image we have created. We then select the most suitable melee stones (small stones placed around the center stone) to match the image and maximize the beauty of the jewelry, and design whether or not to hollow out the piece.
2. Prototype creation
Since everything is made to order, we use a silver prototype to create a wax mold of each finished design, which allows us to meet all your detailed requests.
3. Firing and casting
The investment material (plaster) is poured into the wax model, and once the plaster has hardened, it is fired in an electric furnace. The high temperature melts the wax model, creating a cavity into which metal can be poured. The molten metal is then poured into the cavity of the plaster model, which is known as casting.
4. Polishing
After casting, excess metal is removed and the design details are finalized in this process.
5. Stone setting
During this process, skilled craftsmen set each carefully selected Ravi Charme moissanite stone by adjusting the setting method and type of prongs to match the design image.
6. Engraving
The Ravi Charme logo, base metal, and center stone size will be laser engraved. If requested by the customer, initials or words can also be added to match the design.
7. Finishing and coating
In this process, the surface of the jewelry is thinly scraped and then finally polished, resulting in a smooth and shiny finish.
In the case of white gold, rhodium plating is applied to give the surface a shiny luster.
8. Inspection
The finished jewelry is inspected for quality using specialized equipment such as microscopes. Once each piece has been inspected, it is sent from the atelier to our headquarters.
9. Head Office Inspection
After final inspection of the moissanite, size, engraving, etc. at our headquarters, the piece is wrapped and delivered to the customer.
